My beautiful cousin Stacy recently got engaged to the love of her life, Chris. I was so excited when she asked me to capture their engagement pictures. We decided to head over to the beach at ponce inlet. If you live in Florida and you haven’t been there before, you should go check it out. There is a beautiful beach, a rock jetty, miles of boardwalks, and the historical ponce inlet lighthouse and museum. We definitely had a lot of options for backdrops. The weather was perfect! Not too hot or cold and gorgeous light! And since it was January, the beach wasn’t very busy!
Stacy and I are both busy Mom’s, so we don’t get together as often as we would like. So I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with she and Chris. I was able to see how in love they are and how at the base of their relationship is a deep friendship. I am so looking forward to their wedding in the fall (which happens to be the same day my husband and I got married)! Wishing them so much happiness and a beautiful life together! <3<3<3
It was so nice meeting this newly engaged couple. I loved learning their story: how they met, how they got engaged, and their plans for the future. They probably have the best meeting story ever (it involves a vacation in Europe)! There is something so special about this time during a couple’s life. Two lives becoming one. Loving one person so much that you want to commit the rest of your life to them and only them. It is a beautiful thing. You can see that these two truly and genuinely love each other. Every time I do an engagement session it makes me get a slight itch to do weddings. I just love love! Maybe one day 🙂 Here is M and J’s E-session:
I am so excited to share these pictures!! I’ve been dying to get these on the blog. This is Rachel and Ryan, and they are a newly engaged amazing couple! I use to work with Ryan many moons ago on the pediatrics floor, where we were both nurses. I got to meet his fiance Rachel for the first time at the photo shoot. I instantly sensed the love between these two. Rachel seemed a tad bit nervous for literally the first shot, then boom, she was on! I love how natural they are in these pictures and how you can literally see the love in their eyes.
There was a lot of awesomeness going on at this session. Guitars (Ryan plays the guitar at church and Rachel sings), cute puppies, a vintage sofa, and of course a beautiful couple. These two are so thoughtful, they sent me an email today that made my month. Heres an excerpt: “Just wanted to let you know that Rachel and I were again just marveling over all the pictures last night and just can’t believe how great they turned out. Can’t thank you enough for spending time w/ us and for editing them so nicely. We really think there could have been no one else who could provide artistry to even compare to yours! So thank you again.” Thank you Rachel and Ryan for taking the time to send those kind words, they mean so much.
So without further ado, here is Rachel and Ryan’s e-session!
